Join us on the best fishing grounds British Columbia has to offer
Experience the legendary waters of Haida Gwaii
We are located in Masset, British Columbia on the northern end of Haida Gwaii. This is the first land mass that large migrating Chinook and Coho salmon hit as they begin their journey down the coast to their home rivers. They are in the prime of their life and feeding agressively as they pass by our waters.
World Class Salmon and Halibut Fishing
Every summer migrating Chinook and Coho salmon arrive in the waters of Haida Gwaii to feed on baitfish before continuing on their journey down the coast. We target these fish in very shallow water making every hookup the fight of a lifetime!
We fish from mid May to September targeting Salmon, Halibut, and Lingcod. Chinook can be caught all season long, with coho generally showing up in mid to late June. Halibut and Lingcod can be found all season long with the biggest being caught in May and June.
The fishing grounds are located just outside of Masset inlet with typical travel time being just 30 minutes or less, maximizing your fishing time.
About Your Guide
Growing up on the Sunshine Coast in southern British Columbia, Jonah has been on the water his entire life. Raised in the sportfishing industry, he found a passion for fishing from a very young age and spends most of his days chasing salmon and steelhead all over the province. When he’s not on the water, you’ll find him exploring the coast mountains or volunteering with the local salmon society.
